What we collect when you contact us or invest, why we keep it, who sees it, and your rights under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

Tradiam Asset Managers Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our investment portal. What we collect
When you use a form on this site: your name, phone number, email address, the subject of your enquiry and anything you choose to write to us. Forms also record the page you sent them from and, where you arrived from a campaign link, that campaign.
When you open an account or invest: the identity, tax, contact and bank details the investment portal asks for, which the law requires us to collect before you invest.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and follow up on it, to open and run your account, to send the statements and notices your investment requires, and to meet our duties under capital markets, tax and anti-money laundering law.
We send our monthly note only to people who ask for it, and every email carries a way to stop it.
Who sees it
Our own team; I&M Bank Limited as custodian and MTC Trust & Corporate Services Limited as trustee, where your investment needs them; the providers who run our CRM, email and portal for us, under contract and only on our instructions; and regulators or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to respond and follow up. Investor records are kept for the periods capital markets and tax law set, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it, our systems are protected by access controls and encryption in transit, and our providers are held to the same standard.
Your rights
You can ask to be told what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Write to info@tradiam.africa and we will answer within the time the law allows.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
